Fit4D Director of Nutrition, Susan Meeke, MS, RD, LD, CDE

Susan has almost 10 years experience as a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator in Fort Worth, Texas with an MS in nutrition from Texas Womans University. She has worked as a clinical dietitian in a hospital and as a diabetes educator and pump trainer for an endocrinologist. Previously Susan worked as the nutrition educator for a hospital based outpatient diabetes self-management program.

She became interested in diabetes when she was a dietetic intern (nutrition student) and grew when she started working as a dietitian. I decided to pursue a career in nutrition when a family member became ill and I was looking for a diet-disease relationship. Through many years of working with patients and having family and friends affected by diabetes, I understand the challenges that accompany the day-to-day living with diabetes.
