yea you have some friends that are on your side in the story. also as the story develops, you find out what happened to your father who was also on this planet. its actualy a superb game and i like the epic bossfights. although i must admit some normal enemies are way to easy to kill (atleast in normal mode) and then the boss comes and hes its like going from 0 to 100 in difficulty, since you have to find the weak spot of the boss.

Do you get allies in this game? Doesn't make sine to me taking on hordes of enemies alone.

I am checking out Lost Planet 2 though. Played the demo and it looks interesting.

no, it 4 people that never help you in game (cutscenes and plot characters) and you facing snow pirates and akrid.
