I made this for Video 2. ***I do not take credit for the footage or pictures seen in this video. I do however take credit for the voice over, interviews and editing.***
Yeah there were quite a few errors!! First The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour Went until 1960, which was an extension of I Love Lucy! Also, Here's Lucy did not last for 6 weeks!!! It lasted for 6 years!! And it was not her last tv attempt, she had Life with Lucy in 1986 but that only lasted 11 episodes. And Lucy's last movie was the Stone Pillow in 1985!! You had a lot of errors
@wntoply6 most of the footage here was taken from the tv documentary "finding lucy" produced shortly after miss balls death. most of the narration was lifted, almost verbatim from that tv production. nothing new was noted in coffeefreak89's narration.
lucy's last series was produced when she was 75, in the 1980. it flopped because lucy used the same writers (who's comedic time and relevance had long passed) and she played the same character.
coffeefreak incorrectly stated lucy featured her two children, but that is not true. she played a grandmother living with her son, his wife and their children. her real children lucie and desi jr. were featured in "here's lucy" as shown in the footage, but it was produced almost 20 years earlier.
She sounds very young and did a good job on this video but got many things wrong. I love Lucy has been on the air for 50 years not 51. I Love to study the history of Lucille Ball and I hate it when people get it wrong. Iunderstand that she is young and does not know as much as a true blue fan so for that I forgive her
thanks for posting all of the errors ii was abt to do it until i read you comment
