Actually, you can. There are two ways to DACUS. The one you are showing is the one without making contact with your foe. You can also do this by running-C-stick down(make sure you actually hit your opponent or a sandbag)-immediately flick up on your c-stick after making contact. You will get the same result.

@FunkyKongo do u only use wii remote or with numb-chuck

1) with only wii mote u can't to it(i use to use wii remote b4 i got gc controller)

2) it is posible to do with wii remote and numb-chuck. You have set the plus bar thing(not analog stick) to make it do a down smash, then you can do a snake dash (dacus) by hitting the plus bar down then it up with analog sick and A button although it is very hard to do.
