Hi Makkopoli
It is not as simple as one might think to save an image from Lightroom.
All the development you do is automatically saved to the database, but in order to "apply" the effect you will have to Export the image.
On the lower left side you will see a button for exporting. Once you click that button a new dialog window will open and you have a lot to choose from. I would reccomend you to search the web for tutorials on this as I have not uploaded one.
