Sex is NOT an addition ... just like alcoholism is NOT a illness !!! it is a scam created by money interests. What is next FOOD addition ...because I like good food from fine restaurants ? BTW ... know any healthy women with this "addition" send her my way.

@clonard I totally agree, I think for men it's easy to look at porn to escape, I think for women the issue is more complex porn is only a temporary solution, it's also more embarassing for woman to talk about openly

@cminouye addicition of sex is fine as long as it's controlled & kept between 2 committed man & woman or swingers in discrete places.

@DerrickRay1976 Only if the man and the woman are in a real relationhip..meaning husband and wife/bf and gf..then sure it's ok. Cheating on a partner is NEVER ok. Sex Addiction is NOT ok.

Also, taking great risks to have sex... like meeting a stranger online...and then meeting in person just for sex.
Having sex with multiple partners in one day. Preferring sex over protection if the latter is missing.
cheating because you cant control the desire for sex with new people.
Just not being rational about decisions with Sex is addiction. Plain and simple.
Some people are stronger in will power and self control.

Too much easy access to sex online. I have just realised that I could be developing a sex addiction ( i've visited several escorts in the past year), its effecting my life and making me depressed. But I have started trying to take my life back from now on. For anyone who thinks that this sort of a report is a joke, think again. People suffer from addictions like this everyday. I admire those who try to overcome these problems.
