Jackson decided he and Howard Shore had different visions and instead of arguing, he decided to change composers 6 weeks before opening- poor James Newton Howard didn´t get much sleep trying to get the score done.

i dont get it... what happened to the LA recording sessions? there's another movie on youtube where Howard Shore is scoring for King Kong in LA at MGM, Fox etc... :-??
