From late 1998, this GAP commercial has Rufus Wainwright performing the holiday season staple "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" This commercial gave him a lot of exposure, propelling sales several hundred times fold for his debut album.

This was the first time I heard or saw Rufus back in 1998. I have been a fan ever since.
