@rufus888 Actually, you're right. I played a couple Robert W. Smith songs when I was in high school, and they both had the same general structure. Even then I realized it. It's pretty easy for me to believe that the others are like it as well. This one, and The Ascension are the ones that I played in.

Beautiful oboe solo. Beautiful. THis is music. This is emotion. This is life. Kudos to Robert W. Smith. Bless him to create this kind of emotion in me for many more years!

@rufus888 By the way... it's Africa: Ceremony, Song, and Ritual... and that's ABCDEBA. Just sayin'

ABCBA only works if he's using the same themes for each of your A and B sections - and honestly, following a working pattern doesn't make something mundane. There's a lot of room for originality within a framework. Or would you also call Shakespeare's sonnets - a rigidly metrical form of poetry - mundane under the same criteria?

@justintam14 Clarinets aren't spared either.

I wanna play bass bone so badly for this, but I basically am the tuba section at my school so my conductor won't let me :((
mm. the flute part is hellish.
