Fracture resistance is an important feature of temporaries. Watch how Protemp™ 4 performs under pressure in comparison to other temporization materials.

Best test result: Protemp(TM) 4 with 440.7 MPa, 42.84% compression. It has the best survival rate under compression of all tested materials.

Test method: Compressive Strength Test (according to DIN 53454), test bodies of 8 x 4 mm, 3M ESPE internal measurement with Zwick universal testing machine, crosshead speed 4mm/min.

Tested materials: Luxatemp Fluorescence (DMG), Integrity Fluorescence (Dentsply), Structur 2SC (Voco), Structur Premium (Voco), Protemp(TM) 4. (3M ESPE).
