Touchscreen control on the DMC-G2 is used to focus between near and distant objects with the captured in-camera footage shown at the end. The smooth transition between points enables a form of focus pulling during video recording.

  • go a couple of questions:

    1. does the AF make noise during recording in quite environments?

    2. it can record video as long as the memory lets right? no duration restriction right?

  • @temsi way too much breathing? doesnt seem like that much breathing to me especially considering the range of the focus pull. what lenses are you comparing to?

  • There's way too much breathing in the focus for my taste - but this is a very cool technology.

  • And my jaw drops.
