  • While not nearly as good as its predecessor, it still has its strengths. While it lacks much of a coherent story, it makes up for in beautiful imagery. I did not like it the first time seeing it, but after seeing it a second time, I saw that it can be entertaining.

  • @serenityzr19 It's not for everyone. The first time I saw it, I was bored to tears but it grew on me.

It's not that scary but there definitely is a very nightmarish quality (thanks to the beautiful imagery) to it that can't really be found in today's horror films. It also has some very interesting optical effects thanks to Mario Bava and the picture quality is not that grainy if you watch it on DVD or better yet, on Blu-ray.

  • is it honestly that good? i haven't watched it, but it looks cheaply made and im not sure that it would be scary at all, a friend of mine said it was the scariest thing he ever saw.... it doesn't look to bad to me. i More into todays horror/slasher flix i like the effects and the sound/picture qaulity better. yes the plots could be more creative and such but i just cant stand watching a grainy picture with horrible make up fx

  • Jolly good stuff.

  • Now, now everyone. I too am from the "old school" 80's days of Horror and I love Argento's work just about as much as anybody else. But to bash films like Hostel and Saw is pointless because it's a totally different generation of film makers.

Besides, Horror is actually pretty good these days! Remember the late 90's with SCREAM and all the other weak "surprise ending" clones that followed!?! Those films were truly awful and Horror didn't pick itself up again until the 2000's.

  • They just don't films like this anymore. Screw Saw, Hostel, this is REAL horror. I mean how many films have death by kitty! ;-)

  • Shit! Even the trailer made me cover my eyes in terror! o.o'

  • @haveown25 never have I heard truer words spoken!

  • ARGENTO FULCI ROMERO three true masters of horror !!!!!!!!

  • lol at 2:53 watch closely at the right of the screen to see the cat being thrown by someone's hand.
