(AWARD OF DISTINCTION IN CINEMATOGRAPHY)和2004美國奧羅拉金像獎之"最佳紀錄金像獎"(AURORA AWARDS)。

  • Despite all the oppression exerted by the government, the overall living environment in China, including Tibet, is gradually improving in recent years. I believe China will eventually have more freedom of speech and human rights, I just hope it won't go through a painful process like the French Revolution....

  • Hey guys, as a Chinese who were born in mainland China and spent nearly half of my life which is about 12 years in Canada, I have been seen stuff from both sides of the story. Of course, the living standard in Tibet is significantly improved in the past few decades, but the religion practice there is not entirely "Free". Most of the monastries have limited number of "registered" monk compared to thousand of upper level monks before the Chinese invasion.

  • @karenhz even in western countries, human rights are limited by the law. for example, people can not rape young girls in the name of religion. if the exiles trying to claim in china they do not have freedom of religion because the lamas can not rape young boys anymore then they are completely right.

  • out of context, out of your mouth, out of sync with anything being said....just give up now!

  • Americans didn't actually believe Bush, fool.

  • Dalai Lama had no choice but to cooperate with CCP, then get the Hell out! What is your point...you don't have one, right!

  • no it can prove something!

  • You sir, are wrong on many counts

  • If you think that Tibet was not a part of China before 1959, I wanna ask you what was the point of Dalai becoming an officer in Communist party? And I wanna ask you, do you think any government in the world would allow one quarter of its territory under slavery.
