@900Perfect those probably aren't the same ball. A ball that hooks a lot doesn't mean it has a smooth ball motion to make fast changing patterns easier to deal with.

I am getting a new ball soon. Im not sure if i want this or the loaded revolver. Does anyone know which one is better for heavy oil or for fast changing patterns?

@take1a1good1wiff Because a strong ball needs to be thrown on oil so it can skid and store energy. If there is no oil, then the ball will use it's energy right away and you won't get the desired reaction

i just bought this ball and got it drilled for alot of backend i bowled a few games in this one house where there was medium oil and the ball was picking up in the backend beautifully and i loved it half hour later i go to another house and bowl a few games and there was no oil on the lanes they were bone dry and the ball wouldnt move at all whats up with that ?

I have one of these balls, and it is extremely aggressive in the track area. For example, I once played a tournament on a house shot, and this thing gave me the widest miss area...shot 277 during match play then in stepladder shot 238 and lost. This ball is just a machine!
