Kyle Bradshaw of www.CruiserCustomizing.com installs Kuryakyn Universal ISO Grips part number 6240 on a Honda Shadow VT1100. This install was done in less than 8 minutes. The Kuryakyn 6240 can be installed on any Honda Motorcycle with 1" grips. If you have 7/8" grips you will need part number 6241. If you ride Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki or Victory you will need part number 6235.

  • Possible, but often much more difficult. if you do that, sometimes you push the glue all the way to the end and the grip gets glued to the switchbox housing. Not a good thing.

  • what kind of glue is that? does it come with every kuryakyn grip?

  • you should put the glue down the grip, not on the handlebar. That way the glue gets distributed downwards towards the end of the grip and not pushed up towards the switch box. That's the way that it's done on the official Kuryakyn install video

  • Can you just put the glue right on the end of the handle bar and have the handle spread the glue as you push it on? i feel like it'll allow the glue to be thinner and spread evenly. what do ya think?
