loggers get so much flak. It sucks XD sure it doesn't look pretty but we need wood and there isn't a lot of clear cutting any more.

shredding it allows for quicker decomposition, it also allows for easier movement, filler for mud areas, smaller space consumption, is not as much of a fire hazard, does not allow nesting by animals as easy, and looks better than rotting treetop waste.

I so wish that my friends had one of these when the forest service came in and put in a fire brake, it turned a beautiful forest into large piles of ugly wood debris, like what's in this video. After 5 years, when a forest fire came, all the wood piles made a fuel source, barely slowed down the fire. Many homes, buildings were lost.

usually just burned here in the usa or left to rot. guess there is no market for this material.
