I'd like to poin out that Poland was the only country ocupaied by Nazi Germany during World War 2 where for helping Jews was only one punishment - death.

Listen poeple, stop talking about pogroms and polish anisemitism, in was every were like that due to first propaganda and nationalist era in Europe in XX century.
The fact that Poland had the biggest JEwish population means only one thing, Jews were welcome in Poland and Jews were given all the civil rights, wehre every one else would kill them! i am almost fully jewish, but my grandfather won't tell anyone about his family. I have recently become more interested in my heritage because their is a hug e possibility that i had Jewish family members. i am not racist and i never have been. i am completely open to my jewish heritage and want to learn more about it!

You should make contact with the Jewish community in Krakow, or Warsaw or whatever city you live near. Facebook has a very large contingent of people much like yourself.

gman9261: what jewish nation are you speaking of ? I thought the topic was on Poland. And why would you limit yourself to just the Jewish side of the story, a half a story if you will, were the deaths of the non jews that unimportant to you? It sure looks that way. Also who funded the project for the most part?

The topic of my project was Poland and within that topic 3 million Jews were killed. When I said the Polish nation lost same # as Jewish nation as was talking about worldwide Jews in total. Project was self-funded.

You seem to be unclear on the topic of my book, so feel free to purchase it, or borrow from a library, so you can better understand it.
The project was 100% self-funded. I think I have the right to report on whichever part of the story that I care too. Whenever I can, I do speak about the 3,000,000 non-Jewish Poles and explain that Poland lost 6,000,000 citizens. I also point out that Poland has more people that any other nation in Yad Vashem for saving the lives of Jews.
