Bobtails Rabbit & Guinea Pig Rescue on BBC Breakfast TV - 24 May 2011

As part of Rabbit Awareness Week being held in the UK from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th May 2011, Delia was asked to appear on BBC Breakfast television to talk about keeping rabbits as pets. She was joined by Evo, Stig & Scooby, a group of 3 rabbits still looking for a home.

me and my mum always go on about this kinda thing. we've tried to get through to friends and family but they dont seem to understand that bunnies are fricking awesome! our family rabbit is called flopsy.

Thanks for your comment - glad to hear that we are all presenting a "united front" in animal welfare and the need to treat our animals properly! Now we need to educate the large pet "supermarkets" to promote welfare over profit...

Thanks! We have received so much positive feedback since the appearance on BBC breakfast - let's hope it goes some way to promoting awareness of the need to look after our furry friends properly. You wouldn't believe some of the horror stories we have to deal with at the rescue centre.
