Okay, I stand corrected. Just listened to the original and yeah, there is an F#m to a G to Em in there, resolving on an a chord variant on the stop before "down on mainstreet".
I've always done that one from memory. Glad I stumbled across your version. Caused me to review.

I like your voice, and this is a nice cover. Can I make a suggestion?
The refrain section: "Through the long lonely nights...." , "Unlike all the other ladies...." and "Sometimes even now when I'm..."
I've found these chords fit better:
(Bm) "Through the long lonely nights, she filled my sleep (C) Body softly swaying to that (G) smokey beat (A) down on mainstreet" (D, C, G, walk to Em just like you're doin)
Everyone's got their way of doin things, so this is just a suggestion, not criticism.

Good work man. Sounds good.
Sure, D, C ( hammer on the d string 2nd fret)G, Em. Chorus goes- Bm,A,F#G,F#.
You have to listen close for the strum pattern. Good luck and thanks for asking for the chord pattern.
