I've just posted on another Conrad video about how much he looks like my brother's choc lab Rupert! Rupert runs off too for a while and sometimes falls behind if he finds an interesting smell! I hide behind a tree to make him worried if he does it too much!

So cute. My choc lab goes to doggie daycare to help with his hyperness. He is definitely more obedient when he is tired for sure! Labs are truly our best friends because of their loyaly and devotion. They are needy but that is fine by me. Great video and thx for sharing

we just got a 7 year old male choccy from lab rescue, we called him Buddy, i was getting worried how far ahead he got on walks, but seeing yours on the other side of the hill..i feel a little like it's just a happy lab thing, he always comes back if we get out of sight...happy labbing : )

Don't worry about him running off, mine is like a homing pigeon - he can go for a run and I don't see him for a minute of two, next thing he's by my side. We gave him a name tag that jingles, it means if I can't see him I can still hear him. Peace of mind.

Nice vid. I got a choc labrador and a blonde 1. Choc 1 is gettin old now tho. Great place up at Rhyd-Y-Foel, i go biking up ther often and make vids myself of our riding.

Always up there on Sat & Sun late morning if yours wants a run out with mine. Mine is a little mad though... he thinks obedience is something other dogs does!

Thanks. The music is from Vertical Horizon, the song is 'Finding Me' which is quite apt for Conrad... he loves to run (away!). He's very fit and we climb this mountain every Staurday and Sunday. You'll find that you also become fit too as a side-benefit!
Good luck with yours, you'd be surprised how quick they grow... and how much they become a firm member of the family.
