Personally I've found that anyone who thinks putting the window down a little will work have never sat in a car where the only flow of air was the window down a few inches. Especially in a car that is either dark or has a dark interior. The only way windows really work when the car is still is when there's a strong breeze and they're at least half of the way or all of the way down. Even then, I wouldn't leave a kid or animal in there.

We need to raise the bar for becoming a police officer. From now on, all recruits should be able to spell their own names. Yes it will mean a dramatic drop in numbers, but drastic times call for drastic measures.
