@tangram108 ---I spent $100 and had a decent seat. Upper level, 2nd row, side view. Best ever was first level, a few rows behind where the floor seats ended, dead center view for Reinvention Tour...........eBay purchase a few days before the show for $50!!!!!!!! I've never spent more than $150 for a Madonna show (my first in 1987 cost only $17.50!!!!!!!!!) and have nearly always been satisfied w/my seat .
@wiliander --I think that until her 2nd trek for Sticky & Sweet last summer, she's always played Philadelphia on every tour. New York missed Blond Ambition due to renovating where she would have played so she went to Nassau instead.
I saw her in 1987, 2001, 2004, 2006 & 2008, all in Philadelphia. I think the first time she ever made a TV appearance in Philly was in 1982 on a high school dance show called Dancing On Air (she mimed to Everybody & Burning Up).
Ok, let me clarify, for the price of the ticket 300 dollars and the location of your seat, it's just not worth the price. Where 300 dollars would have gotten you, you would have needed a telescope to even see Madonna. \
Madonna was named "Best Selling American Artist" of the year during the 20th annual World Music Awards ceremony, which was held in Monte Carlo. This World Music award is in recognition for Madonna's 'Hard Candy' having the highest global sales for an artist from the United States this year. Its also the 3rd most sold album of 2008 worldwide!
