Free Speech Lawyer Douglas Christie, who argued on behalf of intervenor the Canadian Free Speech League, in the Marc Lemire Human Rights Case, comments on the recent decision by member Hadjis. Doug Christie also argued for John Ross Taylor in the constitutional argument over the same section in 1989, in the Supreme Court of Canada, and has argued on behalf of the defendant in many cases under the Canadian Human Rights Act.
