身投げするネコハエトリ亜成体（蜘蛛） Bungee Jumper

ネコハエトリ亜成体♂。体長5mm。正面からしつこく接写してるとデジカメのレンズにも平気で飛び移ります。ハエトリグモはお尻から出る「しおり糸」をあちこちに固定しな­がら歩き回ります。この命綱のお陰でジャンプの着地に失敗しても墜落を免れ、糸を登って簡単に戻れます。撮影後にはレンズがすっかり糸まみれになりました。

This is subadult male of a japanese jumping spider (Carrhotus xanthogramma). He was only 5mm long. FYI, we call this species "nekohaetori" in japanese, meaning "cat-like flycatcher spider".
Mid-March, 2007 in Japan.

I love Jumping Spiders. I think they are the cutest little things with those two big eyes in the front, another 6 circling the head, with an occasional "hair due"

I agree iloveSPIDERZ, i never thought i'd say this, but since watching sigma1920's videos, I love Jumping Spiders, the eyes are cute, and give it a personality, this one looks like he's looking around, which i've never seen on a spider before.
