The soft-plastic Slug-Go is one of the most effective lures in the Northeast. In this video, Tom Richardson shows you how to rig one for a sleek, weedless surface presentation. Visit http://www.northeastboating.net for more useful tips.

  • isn't this just a basic texas rig?

  • @htn1986 DROP SHOT!

  • My personal favorite lure for stripers. My style is different though, but that's classified :)

  • man, I catch soooo many largemouth bass on these baits... great lure. It's action is so random, there are little or no negative cues.

  • I've been using sluggos for years, the smaller ones in ark shad, rainbow trout, pearl white, and ice shad colors 3" & 4". They catch bass in every lake in So. Cal and Lake Mead, Nevada. I use the same color 2-1/2 inch Fin-s fish and catch trout, bass, and Big bluegill and crappie. These are the best summer baits avail. Caught an 8 lb bass at Lake skinner on 3" rainbow trout color on a round ball head jig on 4# test. Stripers go for pearl white 4-1/2" and 6" at Skinner too.

  • i got this

im going to try it out this weekend
