I think that Toy Story 3 and How To Train Your Dragon will be nominated for Best Animated Feature next year. So far, those are first and second.

I liked The Secret of Kells

@steventheox Because unlike most studios, Pixar actually cares about something other than just money. They actually respect the audience's intelligence despite their childish themes and characters, and it shows each year.

@TemplarOfNight I disagree. Sans Antz, DreamWorks has failed to impress me more than Pixar time and time again. So what if Pixar's movies are cute? DreamWorks has only ever made 6 animated films that I'd qualify as masterpieces, and even then they still seem like celeb cash-grabs as opposed to genuinely-inspired films. If it helps, they're both far better than Disney, even at their worst.

This is very shocking but i did not like Up. The only bit that was sad was when ellie died,i like sad moments in films. i love sad films

How To Train Your Dragon is the best one. I'm actually getting a little tired of Pixar's cute little movies. I mean, lately, DreamWorks seems a lot more interesting to me, even if the execution sometimes is not as good as the Pixar's. I wouldn't be surprised if Pixar will make a heartbreaking movie about a cute snail. So right now I definitely like DreamWorks more.

Up was funny, enjoyable , and has much adventure. It made me cry at the beggining though :(
I have to disagree with you on The Princess and the Frog being the weakest nominee. It's my favourite of the nominees and the one I think most deserves to win. It was such a return to form for Disney and an altogether excellent film that I think will hold up just as well as Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.
That said, I agree that Up will win here. As very well-liked as Fantastic Mr Fox, Coraline and Frog are, Pixar will win this one again.

Seriously? I enjoyed "The Princess and the Frog" but I hardly think it compares to "Up" or "Coraline" or "Fantastic Mr Fox". And as much as I love to see a return to old-school Disney, I wish they had attempted to address some of the flaws with their old formula (ie pacing problems and awkward character arcs).
