Self-Worth Comes from You!

For all you advanced and enlightened gurus, this video may seem a bit basic. But I think it's worth reminding ourselves that our self-worth comes from us - and no one else; It's called self-worth because it comes from you.

A lot of people try to acquire self-worth through the evaluations of others, but alas - all of those attempts are in vain. At the end of the day, self-worth comes from within - and it's based on nothing except your existence. You have value because you are.

Davey - no offense but you're a hypocrite. You're preaching that looks don't mean anything and that it's what's on the inside that counts - but you're doing it half naked to show how pretty you are. On your website you talk about meeting people on Grindr and other dating sites and although you don't say it out loud - you basically state that physical attraction is the most important part of a person. Old, fat, fem? You're not welcome. Wish *you* were more enlightened. Sorry but thumbs down.

@monokuropoo No, "shirtless" is what he is; who he is is a guy that's using kind words and "feel good" message to offset the fact that he needs to pose mostly nude to get people to pay attention to him. Self-worth is not the same as sexual attraction.  If he gained 50 lbs, no one would pay attention and he would probably end up hating himself because of it due to the fact that his self-worth comes from posing nude online. Its "who he is" because he has no true self worth.

Yea, I get a strong hypocritical vibe from this video. If someone really and truly has self-worth, they wouldn't depend on nudity to get positive feedback from people. I just don't understand people today.

I think some of you are being a bit harsh on jerryfess's comment. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching Davey's videos and he gives good tips, but still, jerryfess has a good point. I'm not saying i agree with him, but that i'm simply respecting his comment. Davey is always talking about how everyone should try loving one another, and that's great. And assuming that includes respecting someone's opinion, how about you try respect jerry's opinion? He wasn't verbally attacking him anyway.

i think that you are just confident about yourself and everyone judges other people so yes sometimes you WILL judge others or make jokes but you are still an excellent person. (im replying to the jerryfess comment, im not hating on them, im just saying how i view what they said and i think its untrue!
