@jeffeosso True, the song was released in late 1985. However, it took a few weeks to reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart and that is the debut date I posted 2/8/1986.

@jeffeosso no it was 1986, 1985 was when it was copy written... freakin huge in usa spring of 86. Couldnt go anywhere without hearing this song.
