  • I used to get home from middle school (called junior high back then) to watch this show. It was on at 4:30 EST. Yes, I AM older than dirt!

  • anyone know the name of the first member being interviewed on the video at :03?

  • Wow, good to see this. Somehow I thought these cats were all gone, died of old age. The original members should reunite, man that'd be so cool. This must've been taped a few years ago cuz they should be somewhere in their mid 60's or early 70's.

  • Love this band. Wonder where they are today.

  • "Where the action is" with Dick Clark

  • 74 sodapop...is this from a documentary? If so, could you provide information on it? I'd love to see it! Thanks!

  • Hi 66buff...you responded to me instead of placing a general comment...not sure if the owner of this video received your response! You certainly know your Turtles trivia! They will remain one of my favorite sixties groups! It was always fun to watch them on stage.

  • Another reason this clip is misdated as You Baby wasn't released until Jan.1966.

  • Hi That is John Barbata. This clip should be dated circa July 1966.John replaced original drummer Don Murray[who played on You Baby]in June '66.Orig.bassist Chuck Portz who left in the fall of '66 is also in this clip. Therefore the clip is misdated.

  • To spotbelly

I trust (hope) you know Flo is a man.

Flo is a nickname shortened from "Phlorescent Leech" and no I am not making that up.

Flo and Eddie were nicknames because contractually they were not allowed to use their real names.
