It's always been easier and faster to use fiber glass mesh drywall joint tape than paper tapes, but now here's a tool that's so effective it can actually cut taping time in half! This labour saving applicator has features that not only speed taping of flat seams and corners, but also make the entire work process simpler than ever before. A roller smoothly applies the tape, and a trigger activated cut-off mechanism accurately completes the joint. The standard tool configuration works for flat joints, while a flip-down corner roller adapts on the fly to precisely insert tape into corners without "rounding". Changing tape rolls is simple as well. The applicator accepts rolls up to 500'/153m long, for fewer stops to change rolls. The gun also comes with an adapter for either 3" or 2" cores, so can be used with all standard 48 & 50mm rolls.
