Megan's POV

I took a deep breath and turned to face Nick.
"Did you write that?" Nick asked looking a little hurt.
"Yes." I blurted out without thinking and Nick went from a little hurt to a lot hurt.
"Why?" he asked, and you could hear the hurt in his voice, I felt a pang of guilt in the pit of my stomach. I hesitated, not knowing what to say.
"Um...I...um-"
"Why did you write it Megan?" Nick asked again, this time his voice was firmer, almost angry.
"Because I-" I started but Nick interrupted me again.
"Tell me something Megan, I'm number one or number two?" He asked, defiantly angry.
"Nick-"
"TELL ME!" He yelled, and it echoed off the empty walls and seats in the arena.
"One. I said quickly hoping he wouldnt yell again.
"Who's number 2?" he asked, this time he didnt yell but he still sounded angry. "Please tell me it's not Joe." Nick added before he could give me time to answer, his voice changed, he didn't sound angry, he sounded like he was pleading, begging for it not to be his older brother. I looked up and saw the look on his face matched his tone of voice.
"Nick-" I started softly, still looking at him, but I stopped when I saw how his features quickly turned harsh.
"I can't believe him!" He said loudly and I cringed. "Wait no, it's Joe we're talking about, I can believe it! He's always been selfish and stupid! It's you I can't believe! You looked me in the eye and told me there was NOTHING going on between you and Joe! You promised me!" He said, his voice getting louder and louder, but still not reaching a yell like earlier.
"Nick I-"
"NO! YOU MADE ME PROMISE I WOULD NEVER LIE TO YOU AND I HAVEN'T BUT I CAN'T GET TREATED WITH THE SAME RESPECT? I'M DONE, MEGAN! I'M DONE WITH ALL THE CRAP YOU'VE PUT ME THROUGH!" He yelled before he stormed away. If the doors of the arena hadn't had the slam proof closing system he would have slammed the door on the way out. As soon as the door closed my legs gave out from under me and I realised that I was crying, I don't know how long I had been crying for when my watch beeped, telling me it was time to get up and get ready to head to the arena. I stood up and brushed away my tears. Then I climbed down the stairs and took the background music CD out of the sound system before walking to my dressing room to wash my face and try to make it look like I hadnt been crying my eyes out just minutes ago. I have a show tonight, and I'm not going to let the fact that Nick just ripped out my heart stomped on it a few times and put it back in, stop me from giving my fans the show they deserved. I just can't believe he didn't even give me a chance to tell him I'm using it for the Totally Spies 2 Soundtrack.
