Doodad Check-A-Board RED Overdrive/Booster DEMO

I won the pedal with a contest Music Maker magazine did. I am very pleased with it so I decided to make a demo because no one else on YouTube did.

I used a Fender custom Telecaster into Fender HotRot DeVille 410

The Check-a-Board™ Red guitar effect pedal is based on the popular overdrive and booster circuits of the Seventies. We've updated the circuits to the tastes and the never ending and still increasing demand of today's Blues and Rock guitarists search for tone.

Both effects are independent TRUE-BYPASS switchable that operate with a 9 volt battery in an easily accessible compartment or a regular 9 volt transformer and are housed together in a "bastard-proof" stompbox made out of die-cast alloy.

The overdrive is on the left and has a bright white LED and three knobs that control drive, tone, and volume. On the right, with a bright red LED and a volume knob, the booster adds volume without affecting the guitar's sound.
