@Kochofication oh no accusation and no offense. Just thinking about something-If I say a pie is good, because I have ate of it, and another says it is bad who hasn't tried it. Who is the source to go by? "Taste and see that the Lord is good." That is why a Christian with a witness will never be subject to an infidel with an argument. We have tasted and know it is good.
@sandworm3 You clearly have difficulty understanding. I never said that the Romans didn't persecute the Christians. It is a historical fact that they did. I never said that the Roman way was the right way either. All I said was that Christianity contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire by dissuading Romans from their traditional ways that were conducive to building and maintaining the Empire. They abandoned their CIVIC virtue and duties. In a way became more selfish and did less for Rome.
@Kochofication You have no clue. You make the Christian church in Rome sound like they were the arrogant ones. They were a persecuted church. Paul wrote the importance of being submissive, try reading the book if you want to accuse me of not reading. Arrogance, the Roman Christians? No, the monkey (possibly a distant cousin) is on your back worldly one.
@sandworm3 Morin! Civic Virtue! The Romans, when Christianised, abandoned their civic virtue. The advancement of the Empire, the conquest mentality, all gone when people got saved and thought they were more important than they actually are. Christianity brought weakness to the Romans. Read a little!

who's the Christian and who's the non-Christian?

@sandworm3 And when did I accuse you of that? I implied that you might be doubting creation, not Jesus. Do you not read what's in front of you?

@Kochofication You are grasping. Since my conversion I have never had one doubt about who Jesus is. Not one.

@sandworm3 "No, the monkey (possibly a distant cousin)" You're conceding that creationism may not be true???
