Lumines 215

It took a loooong time but I finally broke 210 on Lumines 60sec. Could have gotten a 2 or 3 more blocks on the last pass if i didn't waste that 50/50 block, but oh well, still really happy for the new high score :D

how often do you look at the gamefield? After every drop? Or do you look mostly on the next stones and imagine what happens on the mainfield? So you have to check up only every three drops giving you a bit more time...

umm i'm not totally sure, but i usually just look at the board before i move a block and decide how i want it placed and then do that without completely looking at it. like i figure out how many rotates and dpad presses i want then just do it quickly which gives me time to look at the next cue or the field if i feel i need to

haha wow, i just re-read that and realized how unclear that was, sorry about that. its hard to explain, but i kinda look all around quickly and don't stay in one place too long. i think that makes a little more sense

i see you are now taking advantage of the ceil ing half-deletes and use the checkerboard piece very nicely. at 0:48 you could have dropped the 50/50 piece for a half-delete then put the next 50/50 on top of it instead of moving to the left. that and the misdrop at the end and i may be talking about regretting you playing lumines again ;)
