If you compare, Leona is just trying to emulate the emotion that Adam Duritz originally conveyed. Also saying that someone that didn't write the song interprets it better than the person that wrote it is just.. rude. BTW Leona's version didn't even get the melody correct... and she adds these awful pronounciations to the end of some pretty easy words... I think more ppl need to realize she covered the song because it means something to her, not because she is better.. in this case.. at all.
