I have only one real comment to make here. And that comment is monkey penis.
Yes, that is right, I think very strongly that what needs to be said is this: Monkey Penis

Why did you say it's a non-remake, if you took the "this is PBS" speech from the 1989-1993 logo, and therefore made it a remake?

You can tell because you can hear the music from the '89 ident play behind the announcer's voice and over the original music.
