I was sooooo excited when she won the award....as much as i love her i totally thought that taylor swift had it. miranda totally deserved it though!!!

@violets41-- the fact Carrie's "CARNIVAL RIDE" didn't win CMA Album of the Year (or ACM for that matter) is one of the biggest travesties in music history. CR had 5 #1 hits, 3MM sold, incredible songwriting, vocals & production-if ANYONE else put out the same album it would be cleaned up big time, yet due to CU's consistent, quality output it gets overlook for crap like TROUBADOR by Strait ("River of Love" was terrible pablum). If REVOLUTION won then CR should have surely won!!

Watched this for the millionth time... "Holy shit!" is still my favourite moment EVER... And I gotta say, I love Taylor too, but the look on her face when she doesn't win it is priceless.
