thats a good lesson and a good point of view on your part. that's what we call thinking outside of the box...instead of you just calling her an idiot for not paying attention, you really analyzed the situation and came to a genuinely thoughtful explanation as to why she hadn't noticed she won.

I'm a big practical joker,especially in my younger years.I have made numerous pranks of this type.

You got me to thinking though.You could really make someone unhappy.

If your life really sucks as alot of peoples.You can't afford health care,living month to month etc."wow now I can pay off my debts,& pay off my husbands back surgery!"...what it is fake,ohhhhhh!.

I threw away a 50 dollar winner but I copied it playing with the copier and someone else pointed it out to me I did get it out of the trash also my fiance brother pulled one of his friends old tickets out of the trash and it was a 5000 winner he gave it back to his friend his friend gave him 300 what a joke right I think when u excpect to lose that's what u see

i agree, and with that said, she didnt deserve to endure false hopes. maybe shes in debt dude, that would of hurt her bad or something. I wouldnt even play a joke like that on a person without giving them at least like 5 bucks for the good laugh. ya know?

your very lucky she was not looking for money because you could have been hated by her. plus she must be stupid.

I have my own take on this. She knew it was a winner but did't want to tell you incase you wanted it back so she threw it in the trash and was gonna get it out later.

then you come along and take it out of the trash and you don't tell her its a winner, infact you don't say anything. now she thinks your very sly

in a way she was sly and she thinks your sly aswell.

To really pull off the trick you have to give them more than just 1 ticket - I gave my friend 4 others and just mixed in the trick ticket

I did this same trick to my friend, way back in the day. There wasnt camera/video phones back then though - it was damn funny!
