ThAI goin to burn out and give up on the sport, what immediate rewards is he receiving, sure people can argue that its healthy physical activity like karate or tae kwan do, but the workouts are much more draining than either one of those. I wonder how Thai does academically also, if anything his parents should take him out to eat to HIS favorite restraunt after a fight, and win or lose he should be rewarded with a week of rest and possibly a gift from his parents, for his dedication

Except for the unregulated I don't see this being much more dangerous then other sports. Obviously these are the crazy parents in this and just for a bit of fun and a kids hobby eh!
