@djdnauk1977 Nationalism caused two world wars and is about to rape europe yet again. Don't underestimate its destructive power and the capacity people have to forget the past. Irrational fear of distant foreigners can be manipulated as easily as fear of foreigneirs in our midst.

@Bulhakas agreed tho i dont see nationalism as a major issue, intelligent people realise its more of a problem with government policies than foreign influence.

@djdnauk1977 Only the weak-minded let themselves be intimidated by their governments, but I suppose that is only to be expected in a world where reason is dead and emotion commands our actions. It's the same thing with the wave of nationalism sweeping over Europe now.

Funny. If I remember correctly, support for Bush following 9/11 an the initial invasion of Iraq was very high. Now all those americans who supported that either were replaced with other anti-war americans, or simply changed their minds, meaning that time is the difference between what is right and what is wrong. So much for coherence and character.
