Does the use of the 'Frolic' music from Curb Your Enthusiasm' really make any scene - no matter how heartbreaking or terrible - funny? We test the theory on this scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • This scene is already hilarious without the music.

  • WIN!!

  • @theredkatana I think that's too narrow a reading of it, and this is a great example of when you need to go the other way with it. I think in this case, an argument can definitely be made for a clever use of Frolic during the actual horror, while I didn't think much of the use of it at the end.

  • @simontjuu the whole point of frolic is that you hear it after something uncomfortable happens and the awkwardness sets in, not during.

  • you should have started the music at the part where all the nazi's die. would have been funnier

  • Shindler's list + The Frolic Effect = hilarity

  • You should try The Frolic Effect with The Shining or the The Exorcist. Forest Gump would be perfect for the Frolic Effect. Maybe even the Titanic like the scene where they have sex in the car.

  • glorious win

  • fantastic

  • first view,

    and lol
