Néojaponisme Oh! Sake! - Japanese Whiskey Highballs

From the depths of a Tokyo basement, Marxy of Néojaponisme (http://neojaponisme.com), writer/translator Matt Alt (http://www.youtube.com/yokaiattack), and writer/Japanese subculture expert Patrick Macias (http://youtube.com/TokyoScope) do a taste-testing of five Japanese "highballs in a can" — whiskey sodas pre-packaged for quick consumption and sold at convenience stores.

Beverages include Black Nikka Highball, Seiyu Highball, Tory's Highball, I.W. Harper Highball, Jack Daniel's Highball — one of which may be the worst beverage sold in stores today.

Generally I've seen them in convenient stores and supermarkets. I have yet to see them in vending machines.

Yes, apparently it was a low-priced whiskey in the U.S. but a relatively high priced import in Japan, so they had to stop selling it in the U.S. in order to stop grey market imports.

It's no longer made by the original I.W. Harper people though, or at least so says the internet.
