DYI Shiny High Heels.

http://www.studioveena.com/?svr=youtube_heels I had gotten a lot of request from my pole dance friends asking how I made my shiny blue heels. Soooo I thought I would make you all a tutorial. The key is use small strips and angled pieces for the sides. You can buy all of the items (not the heels) at JoAnn Fabrics. Wal-Mart also has some fun things you could use. The paper I used was Scrap-booking paper. I payed only 99 cents for each for the self adhering paper. This is NOT meant to be permanent, it will start to peel off and wear fairly quick. Its best to use this technique for photos, one time performances or things of that nature. If you wanted to make it last I would try using a spray Lacquer. Note: I have not tried the lacquer. The cleaner the shoe and your hands are the longer the paper will stick. HAVE FUN and post your pics for me to Studioveena and Facebook.

Ahhhh... I see what my problem was. I tried to do this with non-adhesive scrapbook paper and hot glue. The paper was really thick and unforgiving. I wasn't able to cover the "tricky part" on the underside of the shoe at all, so I had to paint it the closest color I could find. It looks pretty good, but not nearly as perfect as yours. :-)
