This is a quick test showing you the chimes that the Final Fantasy XI - Vana'diel Clock plays. There are four settings and each one will play the sounds of the respective nations from the game. I randomly found this on eBay a week ago, quite surprising since it's quite old. Copyright on the box is 2002-2004, meaning it preceeded Treasures of Aht Urghan and Wings of the Goddess and quite possibly Chains of Promathia also, which may explain why only these four nations are available.

Anyway, I think this clock is fantastic! Once you put in the correct time and it's correlation with Japan Standard Time, it shows the correct game day (Firesday, Watersday, etc) and game time, as well as the current moon phase. You can use this to keep track of when say, 2-hour abilities are back up, when guild shops open and when ferries depart. These functions aren't as useful as they used to be due to things like the FFXI wiki and various 3rd party plugins, however I think this is a very cute clock and I'm glad to have it as part of my gaming merchandise collection. :)
