  • is that lefty strung upside down? Either that or the light is making the E and B look like wound strings?

  • No, just a regular right handed guitar strung regular with 10-46's.

  • The tone is simply freaking awesome! Is that a Standel amp your using and what effects if any? Please do tell?

  • The amp is a roland micro cube. Tiny little solid state thing. Great for practising indoors without fear of waking the neighbours! No effects, just straight into the amp.

  • Tell all those afficondos to jump in a lake! Appreciate the Dano for what it is- a wonderfully, unsual guitar. Why don't you guys name dropping this dude or that blues player, post something of your own blues playing.? So you going to tell that the early blues master who played on cheap acoustics don't cut it because it doesn't sound like this or like that????

  • Niiiice tone for just a reissue!!!!

  • great tone and playing hats off to you

  • perfect for surf rock. especially if you snag one with a tremolo arm. I just kick up the reverb and go to town.

  • damn dude you got soul

  • i ended up getting a Danelectro U2 and i love it... maybe someday i'll get a jaguar, but i'd consider a jazzmaster too!

  • You might want to try getting a Jaguar if you want to play surf music.

  • is that back silver thing a pickup because it looks like the bridge thingy and looks like he is playing in the place where the strings go down im not sure never played 1 of those kinda guitars :P

  • they are distinct in tone, but still pretty versatile. great for jangly 60s stuff... almost like a rickenbacker... for surf though... the tone is fine, but some guys like to have a whammy bar for surf stuff (dick dale vibe)

  • Hello Kevyp- where can I get that backing track? Great Playing- nice guitar amp tone......great riffs
