THE UTTERLY SCANDALOUS · CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED · MUSICAL SMASH

"The most explosive theatrical event for years sets a new standard for musical theatre. Praise be. To Jerry." The Observer

"An irresistibly funny masterpieceraucously filthyutterly hilarious." The Sunday Times

"Achieves nothing less than the transfiguration of trash TV, turning its crass nature into something sublime." The New York Times

Londons still in shock and New York may never recover. Get ready Sydney for the shamelessly naughty, utterly hilarious Jerry Springer: the Opera.

So dip me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians...

Winner of every major musical award in the UK, Jerry Springer: the Opera is the all-singing, all-dancing musical sensation inspired by Americas most outrageous talk show.

It ain't over till the fat lady says you're sleeping with your brother's sister's twin!

A pre-op transsexual A man with nappy fetish A pole-dancing housewife Dancing Klansmen The Devil And a Jesus who admits hes just a little bit gay.

A cast of 21 performers, with an 8-piece band, play a succession of lowlife characters, each desperate for their own Jerry Springer moment. They fight, they cuss, they reveal their secrets all via a sung-through score that ranges from pop and Broadway to classical and contemporary opera.

"Its got tragedy, its got violence, there are people screaming at each other and you cant understand what theyre saying. Its perfect for opera." Richard Thomas, Conductor

  • Alison, clearly, since she took my breath away in London with the original Jerry Springer show at Seven Dials, remains a total force of nature to be reckoned with.

How fortunate is Sydney to have the chance to see her performance?

    Thank you Ms. Jiear.

    Superb job.

    Ian Johnson, Out Now.

  • I've been a fan of this tune for a couple of years, and it was such a thrill to see it performed by Ali...definitely the highlight of my MG weekend! James in San Francisco
