@mwtillotson two wrongs gets shit done

@recievedmails waterboarding is awful, and I don't condone it for any reason...but three-quarters of the world uses techniques that are just as bad, or worse. Read up on it - I have.

looks like torture to me...but I guess if it works...Make it legal...but put alot of conditions to who and when it is used...
-
@recievedmails Shit in other countries the torture is much worse. We could just start cutting off extremities.

KSM survived 180 episodes of water torture
-
This guy makes it look WAY easier than it really is. Mancow thought it definitely was NOT torture and he only lasted SIX seconds!
-
Tust watching this gives me the chills
-
@tkandme3 Jesus christ, you know it all don't you, the first video was a demonstration of a REAL waterboarding video, and the second one was the volunteer.
-
Real u.s soldiers who torture would not wear there uniform.
-
@recievedmails certian countries (not giving specifics) are no different... its just that the american government cant be trusted. in other governments, you know that if this is what you do, this is your punishment.
"give me an hour, a waterboard, and [your head], and ill make u say anything'
Won't even last an hour. if done properly it will be over in seconds. Information extracted? ANYTHING- aka bullshit. Reliability of information extracted? zip! none! So what was the worth of the action? none! zip!

@hmdsidd
Have you never heard of "two wrongs don't make a right"?
There are multiple reasons why we shouldn't torture: it is wrong, it hasn't been proven to work effectively, it puts our soldiers in more danger, it makes our country look like a joke, and we can't trust our government to define what constitutes a terrorist.
The death penalty hasn't been proven to be all that effective in the United States. Burden of proof is on you.
Quit being short-sighted and look at the consequences.
