  • So your saying , MAC users can have Windows AND OSX , but PC users can only have Windows ? The MAC wasn't designed for PC software , so I will be looking forward to throwing OSX on my Alienware :D

  • people forget windows is a software company, so if os x is so good, then it can survive as a software company too. if you buy a computer, you own it. if you buy an os, you own it.

if car manufacturers sold cars and told you that you can't drive it on dirt, would you think that was fair? you bought the car, you can do what you want with it. same with computers. if i buy a computer, its my freaking computer and i will do with it what i want

  • @johnmonk66 Just being picky but you don't own it, you have a licence to use it.

  • What the hell. You don't have to format your drive to go to Windows 7 if on XP. All your files stay in a Windows.Old folder for access. Granted you have to redownload the programs but your not formatting your drive and doing backup thats for sure. But its still good in case the worst happens

  • >>Look up this video "Snow Leopard on a PC - Hackintosh" I have use Hackintosh for years they are fast, and work great if you set them up right...

    >> I have Linux, and BSD both can do just as much as Mac OS... and they are both free...

  • I tried to get Mac OS X running on one of my PCs. I got it to work, but there was always some problem. Ether the sound or the network, or sleep, or shut-down, etc After spending hundreds of hours trying to make it right, I gave up. I realized I was having the PC experience, not the Mac experience. The reason I wanted a Mac was so I would not have to debug/fix it all the time. To have that, I am just going to have to buy a Mac I have one on order.

  • How come you never read upon the subject before you are posting a video?

Apple have a protection against non apple hardware.. The DSMOS = Do Not Steal Mac OS.

We at the osx86 scene have already patched that. And just for the notice. the orginal Do Not Steal Mac OS patch WAS provided by apple them self.. In the switch to intel, they did not have the hardware..so the dev. kits included this patch. :)

  • Thats right! You are totally right! spot on! and I'm happy to see that some people auctally followup and read regarding this debate! :)

  • I see you have a PC : (((

  • ya if i could run mac osx on my pc at my office that would be great!! my CAD software crashes when using installed on a mac with bootcamp.. and i really dont have anymore deskspace left to have another computer sitting around the office. and im out off outlets anyways with all my monitors and printers and secutiry cameras etc etc. so if mac lets this happen i wouldnt mind going out to buy osx. because there are many things i need to do on both.. but right now mac running windows doesnt work

  • Rebel EFI is a scam. Psystar just stole free, open source code and charges for it without giving credit where due.

    Fuck Psystar.
