WATCH IN FULL HD!

First short film experiment shot on my new Canon 7D. Honestly, I'm not good with handling the settings in a night-scene. Here is what I've got. Color graded with basic 3-way color-corrector on FCP on 1080p25.

Shot with Canon EOS 7D and only a Sigma 30mm f1.4 lens.

  • I just can't believe it you have more quality making this video compare to RTB...

  • Very nice and emotional, but it could be much more better if the shooting sound is cut off

  • One of the most visually entertaining piece I've ever seen from a local. Mind making more clips like this? =D cheers brah

  • Your like Patrick Boivon....only Brunei version!!! ^^

  • @visualdimensions did you make one yourself? Impressive

  • you better man, I'll support you. let me know when you done with it.

  • good angles and quality man..

  • @visualdimensions yup it's the new cam. i haven't try canon vid recording. now i have to buy a wide angle lens for vid recording purposes and maybe the zoom handy stereo recorder. yup i do both video graphy and photography with d90. i already add u mate. my name is irhash hehe.. allright and btw lemme see the rode mics if it's already arrive

  • @MrIrhash Yea I think I've heard of thr Sony. It just came out recently right? Yes the 7D as well as the 550d and obviously the 5Dmrk2 has the mic inputs. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive in another week or 2, those rode mics. U do photography with D90? Better look me up on Facebook, easier to chat. LOL. C ya.

  • @visualdimensions same goes to me. heeh. im still trying to find the solution for this noises. and one boring thing about hdslr in nikon d90 is there's no rode mic's input for it.. and 7d have the input x.. oww~ yeah mahal eh the camcorder yg big one. i once aim the sony nex vg10, but m nt sure bout the price but interchangeable lens makes me wooot~ but relax lah. make money with d90 dlu hehe.. i can't get the software

  • @MrIrhash LOL. Yea u can say that. I've just got lots to try specifically on this 7D. That's why I bought it. Cheapest lens for Nikon? I seriously have no idea, sorry. Only the one I mentioned for Canon. I sold my video cam bcos I wasn't using it anymore n I know the value will get pretty low since the first time I bought it. Infact, DSLR is just something I like. The camcorder I really wanna get is too damn expensive.

  • @visualdimensions woaah? another film... u got lots of ideas in ur head dude.. i'll try it later right after i finish download it.. what's the cheapest for that type of lens? im using nikon d90.. u sell ur vid cam for the 7d eh? im still new in this videography thingy.

  • @MrIrhash Hehe. I'll be posting up another film sample of the 7D within this week. Still really keen to try some other stuffs. Yup, FCP. The build in color corrector is already good enough I guess cos I used to use Magic Bullet Looks. Not anymore. Get the cheap 50mm f1.8. It does the job well. Why dslr are u using? My cam sold already.

  • @visualdimensions yeah that's what i notice right after i do the recording during the drift show,. well u can do night shoot lol i cnt , i just use my 18-105mm 3.5-5.6.. that's why i need the lens f1.5, but yeah what software u suggest me to use for the color correction . ok kh tu fcp? and where's ur vid cam??

  • @MrIrhash Hi. Yup that's the thing. I still got noise, even watching it on the actually computer monitor, It's awful. but better improvements after color-corrections. I'm still trying to workout night shooting settings. I shot this on an ISO 1600 and shutter 1/60.

  • @DeSoraProduction I bought mine almost 3k. Yes it does have more options on a 7d such ad it's manual settings and it has the 25fps on a 1080p. If u ask me, go for the 550D. It's very similar with 7d and chraper. I'm also planning to get one very soon as backup. 550d also has both 25fps and 30fps on a full HD.

  • mate, nice colour in HDSLR i like that.. anyway do you notice something like noises right before u edit using 3 way colour corrector on fcp?

  • how much did you buy for ur 7d?im thinking of buying one soon cause i heard it have more option for video recording than 500d.

  • @d440 Yup, used a dolly slider and tripod. Others were done handheld.

  • Nice work. was wondering, was all this shot hand held, or did you use make shift trolleys for those panning camera movements?
