I first saw this AD on the cover of 24 hours (a Canadian Newspaper) and was really disturbed by the racist overtones. I don't think AXE intended to offend blacks by it but they should have considered the broader implications of an AD like this. I think they should publicly apologize to anyone who felt offended.

I never notice there was racist overtones in this video. Even now, I still don't see what you are talking about it. It's like when people got pissed off over Resident Evil 5 by accusing it of being racist just because the zombies were black. Ahem, the game takes place in Africa, who do you think you would run into out there?

This ad is so racist. The guy is white in the beginning. Then he's a black man with white girls fawning over him? So white guys should want to be irresistible (to racist interracial white girls), by trying to be more black? Racist racist ad. Axe ads are terrible. If they are not gynocentricly sexist they are interracial racist.

That's not the point of the ad at all. They are saying the new Axe Dark Temptation will make you irresistable to women, like chocolate. The guy just turns black because in reality of the commerical, he turned into chocolate. You missed the whole point of this ad and speaking of which, if you think these ads are terrible, why did you watch this one?

I'm black. I don't think it's racist at all. It's a whole other level of disturbing. But his colour has nothing to do with it. He's turned into chocolate, a magical thing that makes women stop in their tracks and do things to him! That's what's creepy.

he turns into chocolate. Not black person alive can make them selves taste so good I am black i would know. we also cannot change our clothes chocolate either.
